TRAINING

Every 2 years the UK floristry judges will be on the look out for new judges. Judges training is a rigorous programme of training over 18 months to 2 years, including attendance at study weekends, principles of design, rules on competitions and the process, shadow judging at competitions around the UK and a final examination.

If you want to know the latest news about judges training days go to https://www.floristryjudgesguild.co.uk/train-to-be-a-judge.htm

As well as training new judges they will also run courses for budding competitors. The training will be a one day course, held at different college locations throughout the country. It is a full day course hoping to demystify what competitions are all about, explaining how to interpret the schedule, where to get your inspiration from and how the designs are judged.
