Description
Belonging to the British Florist Association should be part of every professional florists business portfolio. Florist Business members have access to the complete range of BFA member benefits and are presented with a membership certificate to display in their shop, as well as an annual window decal to show their customers that they belong to the Industry trade association and abide by its Code of Practice the standards of excellence.
BFA membership indicates a commitment to the florist industry and highlights professionalism to customers. It also adds value to members’ businesses and saves them money through a number of member benefits which can be seen in the membership section (and are constantly changing with new additions)
Who Can Apply
Retail Florists – Operating from a traditional shop premises that has a rateable value from the local authority and which customers can visit.
Studio florists – Professional florists operating from a studio or unit that complies with all legal business requirements.
Freelance Florists – Has no business unit or traditional shop premises but works for other employers on a temporary basis. Freelancers will not be registered on ‘Find a Florist’ and the only membership category offered will be with the IoPF. Please see criteria for IoPF membership.
