The Academy of Floristry is an established independent training facility, and an approved City and Guilds centre.
The school was opened in Bournemouth, Dorset in 2011 when there became a niche in the market for a local flower school. We teach accredited programmes for students wishing to enter the world of professional floristry, development and further support for those already in the industry and recreational and wellbeing classes for leisure and enjoyment.
The courses are delivered by an outstanding and passionate team, which include British and European Masters, who strive for perfection and dedicate their time, knowledge and skills to all their students to do well in the profession.
This is proven by the 100% success rates we have received and gained over the years with all our students who study with us. Winning a vast amount of RHS Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver and Bronze medals from Chelsea flower show and Hampton court palace flower show. Following in their tutors’ footsteps of being awarded the highest marks across the country for Theory or Practical in the Level 4 & 5 qualifications. Striving to be the best within the World Skills and Florist of the year competitions, the awards and student’s results speak for themselves.

Based inside the Academy is our bespoke, award-winning Flower shop “By Arrangement florist” so any of our students training with us, can also see first-hand, real live commercial industry standard work being produced and delivered, and if they wish, can work alongside the team whilst training with work experience in house alongside their chosen course.
