IPF membership is for individual florists. Membership grades reflect recognised qualifications, experience and professional progression.

Current IPF grades and annual prices

The grades below use the eligibility and prices currently published by the BFA. If you are unsure which grade applies, contact the BFA before submitting the form.

Student

£52 per year including VAT

For florists currently registered on an approved floristry course through a recognised awarding body or BFA Member College. This category is available for a maximum of two years.

Member Florist

£78 per year including VAT

For florists who have successfully achieved an industry-recognised Level 2 floristry qualification from an approved awarding body.

Senior Member Florist

£91 per year including VAT

For florists who have successfully achieved an industry-recognised Level 3 floristry qualification from an approved awarding body.

Licentiate Florist

£100 per year including VAT

For florists who have successfully achieved an industry-recognised Level 4 floristry qualification from an approved awarding body.

Fellow Florist

£100 per year including VAT

For florists who have successfully achieved an industry-recognised Level 5 floristry qualification from an approved awarding body.

Academic Member

£91 per year including VAT

For floristry tutors teaching recognised qualifications and meeting the current published qualification criteria.

Academic Fellow

£100 per year including VAT

For floristry tutors teaching recognised qualifications and meeting the current published higher-level qualification criteria.

The BFA also publishes a bench-trained route for florists who meet the relevant portfolio criteria. Contact the membership team if that route may apply to you.

How the application works

3. BFA reviewThe membership team checks the application and confirms the appropriate membership.

IPF Membership

Complete the form below to apply for membership, you will then be redirected to the checkout to make a payment for your membership. Our team will then review your membership within 5 to 10 working days. Your membership will only be endorsed once you have uploaded your credentials and once these have been approved by the Membership Department. Your membership is valid for 1 year from the month of payment, we'll send you a reminder by email when it's time to renew.
