There are several ways to be part of the BFA, depending on how you work within or support the floristry industry. Membership routes include florist businesses, corporate suppliers, colleges, training schools and community supporters.

Here’s how it works:
- Start your application by selecting ‘Apply Now’ next to the appropriate membership plan you require from the options below
- Complete the application form and pay the required membership fee.
- Our team will then review your application and activate your membership within 5 to 10 working days. In the unlikely event that we feel that the membership you have selected is not suitable for you, we will advise you of the most appropriate membership or arrange a refund.
The BFA ‘Code of Conduct’ sets out the standard that BFA Members have agreed to follow in order to attain the best level of service for their customers.
Florist Business Membership
Florist Business Membership brings together practical year-round support to help you save, grow, connect and be represented. Benefits include business resources and member offers, learning and events, professional visibility, industry connections and the collective voice of the BFA.
The BFA is an independent trade association for floristry. Membership supports the work we do for members and for the wider industry, including practical resources, events, education, industry connections and representation.
It is designed for professional florist businesses that want practical support, stronger industry connections and a clearer route into the wider floristry community.
Florist Business Membership is £156 per year including VAT.
For florist businesses including retail shops, studios, wedding and event florists, home-based businesses, online florists and mixed business models.

College Membership
College membership is designed to offer dedicated guidance and support to colleges and training providers delivering floristry qualifications, who are subject to OFSTED inspections.
Through our Training and Education Team, our member Colleges receive ongoing opportunities for collaboration and regular industry updates via the College newsletter. College Members also have access to exclusive member benefits including the BFA Magazine, industry discounts and reduced entry costs for BFA events. Discounts are also available on The Professional Florists’ Manual, when buying in bulk.
College Members each receive a profile page on the BFA website, which can be used to showcase their college and promote their courses and qualifications.
