DEVINNIA HOLLOWAY

Devinnia Holloway debut designer

Davinnia’s Mum found her a floristry course when she was 17. She fell in love with the industry and went on to pass her level 3 and open her own shop by the age of just 19.  Fiesta Flowers in Birmingham is Devinnia’s successful flower shop.  She’s looking forward to sharing her creative designs with others.

LARA THORPE

Lara Thorpe debut designer

Lara’s qualifications include level two and three diplomas in floristry.  Taking her inspiration from Hanneke Frankema, Lara won a silver medal at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year. Looking forward to receiving feedback from other professional florist, Laura is both excited and a little nervous about showing her designs on the Debut Designers stage.

HANNAH BECKLEY

Hannah Beckley, debut designer

Starting in floristry at the age of 15, Hannah is currently studying Level 3 technical diploma in floristry at Moreton Morrell College. Although Hannah has already competed in RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019, this is her fist ever demonstration. Florists that inspire Hannah include – Laura Leong and Iza Tkaczyk.

ELLA BOARDMAN

Ella Boardman, Debut Designer

Taking inspiration form the delicate and unique work of Kiana Underwood, Ella will be stepping out of her comfort zone to demonstrate for the first time.  Ella has already achieved her Level 3 diploma in floristry, and this year won a Silver medal at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Kally Ellis founder of McQueens, a female boss of a large scale florist is also one of Ella’s inspirational Florists

ANNE WHYSALL

Anne Whysall, Debut designer

Starting floristry as a work placement, Anne now runs her own shop in Shrewsbury. After winning a silver medal at RHS Chelsea Flower show this year, Anne is still nervous about taking to the stage in front of a audience with so much floristry experience.  Demonstrating today Anne will be Honouring a friend and colleague, that was an amazing florist and demonstrator, she sadly lost this year.

ALICE HERRINGTON

Alice Herrington. Debut designer

Currently studding for her Level 5 Masters in Floristry, Alice followed her Mum into Floristry at the early age of 16. Alice and Mum Amy have run their own shop Amy’s Flowers in Chagford, since 2010,  Alice has won Silver at RHS Hampton Court and Gold at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Alice is hoping to inspire others who may be up and coming into the world of Floristry in the same way Gregor Lerch inspires her making his designs look so natural when there is so much skill and technique involved.
