Congratulations to all the world skills competitors and winners.

Having succeeded to get to the finals from the initial heats last June, the florists then competed for 3 days at the NEC Worldskills UK live.

They were the winners from over 70 skill competitions, known as National Finals, that pitted more than 500 competitors against one another at the LIVE venue Birmingham’s NEC from Thursday to Saturday.

Our very happy Gold medal winner Renata Egan Wyer from Warwickshire College with Chairman of the BFA Brian Wills-Pope.

Congratulations also to: Jen Jones – Silver Medal and Naomi Carolan – Bronze Medal

Other Finalists for 2019 are

Mary Snee, Jodie Owen, Hannah Beckley, Emily Acutt and Clara Agnew

All the finalists including World skills organiser and Training and Education director Sandie Griffiths and head judge and moderator, Lynda Owen. Wildcards were Hannah Beckley, Emily Acutt and Clara Agnew.
