BFA Shortlisted for the 2026 TAF Awards

We’re delighted to announce that the British Florist Association has been shortlisted for two categories at the 2026 Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards, an annual event celebrating excellence, innovation and impact across UK trade associations.

Following the first stage of judging, the BFA has successfully reached the shortlist for:

Event of the Year – FleurEx 2025

Recognising the continued growth and success of our flagship industry event, which brought together florists, suppliers, educators and designers for a record-breaking year of inspiration, learning and connection.

Association Volunteer of the Year – Jo Biddle

A testament to Jo’s outstanding dedication, leadership and contribution to the BFA community. Her work, passion and commitment have played a vital role in strengthening the Association and supporting florists across the UK.

What Happens Next

The TAF Awards now move into a final stage of judging. The judging panel will meet to review the shortlisted entries, discuss their merits and come to a collective decision on each category winner. While only one winner is normally selected per category, the panel may also award special commendations where they feel entries deserve additional recognition.

The winners will be announced at the TAF Awards ceremony in February 2026.

A Moment of Pride for the Floristry Community

To be shortlisted in two categories is an achievement we share with the entire floristry community, from our members who support the Association year-round, to the volunteers, partners and event contributors who help make initiatives like FleurEx possible.

We send our warmest congratulations to all shortlisted organisations and our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in this year’s successes. We look forward to celebrating together in February and will keep our members updated as the results are announced.
