New Covent Garden Market’s British Flowers Week is back on June 26-30, 2023
British Flowers Week – a campaign owned by New Covent Garden Market, the UK’s wholesale Flower Market – will take place between June 26th and June 30th 2023.
The annual week-long celebration of British flowers and the British floral industry highlights the beauty and variety of British cut flowers, foliage and plants, as well as the amazing work of the British florists, growers and wholesalers who put flowers in the spotlight.
Anyone and everyone who loves British flowers is encouraged to get involved by decorating their windows with British flowers to mark the week. Whether it’s with a single stem, a bouquet made from garden flowers or a spectacular display, a decorated window will signal support this June.
The social media audience is key to the celebration, so sharing your creations, your stories, your passion and your work with the floral community – using the hashtags below is key. We want to see everyone who is involved in or amazed by the sector enthused by the incredible array of homegrown blooms, foliage and plants that’s in season at that time of year.
June is a sensational month for British flowers. Think peonies, all the colours of cut rose, sunflowers, marigolds and garden flowers galore. Expect to catch hydrangeas, lavender, sweet peas, clematis and delphiniums flourishing in gardens across the country.
