Over the past months, you might have heard of a new wholesaler called Floristry Market. Well, that’s us! We’ve had lots of questions come our way since we went live in August of last year, so we thought we’d take a moment to tell you a bit about us and answer some of those questions
Here’s the boss, Greg Brown, to tell you more…
Who are we?
Floristry Market is one of the newest wholesalers of floristry sundries in the industry, focussed on providing exceptional customer support, competitive prices and a wide product range. We’re an online-only business and based in Totton, just outside Southampton.
We’re also trade-only, so our customers need to be approved to have an account with us: this helps put members of the floristry industry first, preventing general consumers from getting hold of products at trade prices.
How did you get into the floristry industry?
We have been trading in the world of balloons and party supplies for over 21 years, and as Balloon Market for the last 15 years, becoming the leading online balloon and party wholesaler in the UK.
Due to our constantly expanding range of floristry products, we soon found that we were getting more and more florists coming to us. So, in the summer of 2024, we decided to give the industry a more florist-focussed website experience… and Floristry Market was born!
What does Floristry Market offer?
Whilst we don’t offer fresh flowers and plants, we aim to stock everything else a florist would want! We have a huge range of artificial and dried flowers, as well as the sundries for all your floristry needs. We’re always expanding our range with our customers in mind; so, if there’s something specific that you want us to stock, please let us know and we can look at getting it in for you!
We also pride ourselves on our speedy delivery and exceptional customer service. You’ll always be able to get through to one of our team if you have any questions or queries, and we offer a range of flexible delivery options. If you order with us before 3.30pm, Monday to Friday: we’ll make sure your order is dispatched that same day! We have options – DPD, Parcelforce and Royal Mail – whatever works best for you from a price or speed point of view.
You also have a YouTube Channel – what do you do on there?
One of our main goals is to help people grow their businesses through service and support: YouTube falls under the support part. We’ve worked with various guests in the industry so far, such as Oasis Floral Products and Emma from Lily & Bee, to help inspire and educate ‘greener’ florists in bitesize pieces (this also extends to our Instagram and TikTok channels!).
This has worked very well in the balloon industry, and we have found that when people have a taste of professional education, they want to experience more training in person. We would like to help do the same for the floristry industry too with so many great educators out there. If any flower schools or educators are interested in working with us, give us a shout!
Do you offer any discounts to BFA members?
Yes, we do! All BFA members receive a 5% discount – just go to the members area of the BFA website to get the discount code and then use it at our checkout. Be sure to look out for even more BFA specific offers throughout the year as well!
